This work in forged and welded iron is one of Metzler's few openly political pieces. A reflection on unjust working conditions and on the condition of the factory worker. The human being needs three heads here to function. The arms become directly linked to the tools of labour. Inside the body, a painted inner life. A dream in stark poetic contrast to the figure itself.
