In this sculpture, the human figure is still present but begins to dissolve into the form of the city, which here becomes dominant, almost oppressive. The people, or rather their bodily remains, merge with architectural structures, becoming an integral part of the urban landscape. The distinction between individual and built space thins out until it disappears. This is a strongly abstract work, where lines and volumes seem to quote both the human figure and urban elements. This hybrid stages a silent and ambiguous dialogue between identity and civilisation. As always with Metzler, the work is carved from a single block of stone. The use of colour, inspired by ancient Greek sculpture, introduces an element of vitality, as if those human-architectural remains were still crossed by life.

In questa scultura, la figura umana è ancora presente, ma comincia a dissolversi dentro la forma della città, che qui diventa dominante, quasi oppressiva. Le persone, o meglio i loro residui corporei, si fondono con strutture architettoniche, diventando parte integrante del paesaggio urbano. La distinzione tra individuo e spazio costruito si assottiglia fino a scomparire. Si tratta di un'opera fortemente astratta, in cui le linee e i volumi sembrano citare tanto la figura umana quanto elementi urbani. Questo ibrido mette in scena un dialogo silenzioso e ambiguo tra l'identità e la civiltà. Anche in questo caso, l'opera è ricavata da un unico blocco di pietra. L'uso del colore, ispirato alla scultura greca antica, introduce un elemento di vitalità.

Die Personen, oder besser ihre körperlichen Reste, verschmelzen mit architektonischen Strukturen und werden Teil der städtischen Landschaft. Der Unterschied zwischen Individuum und gebautem Raum verdünnt sich bis zum Verschwinden. Es ist ein stark abstraktes Werk, in dem Linien und Volumen sowohl die menschliche Figur als auch städtische Elemente zitieren. Diese Hybridform inszeniert einen stillen, mehrdeutigen Dialog zwischen Identität und Zivilisation. Wie immer bei Metzler ist das Werk aus einem einzigen Steinblock gehauen, der seine technische Meisterschaft beweist. Die Farbigkeit, von der antiken griechischen Skulptur inspiriert, gibt diesen architektonisch-menschlichen Resten Vibration.
